A reinforced concrete roof slab matches other garages in this conservation area.
When a garage had to be demolished because of tree root action, we were contracted to create a new stable foundation and build the structure which included a reinforced concrete roof slab to match other garages in this conservation area.
This project is an example of a piled raft foundation. The piles were steel cased driven piles topped by a raft slab foundation on a layer of compressible material to protect the slab from the effects of any ground heave.
